Nina is amazing. She is so sweet and kind. She is very professional, a prompt communicator, and will make you feel comfortable during your photo session. We did a honeymoon photo shoot with her so we could have some wedding photos with the beautiful NZ scenery and she did a fantastic job. She's super knowledgeable about the Wanaka region and knew exactly where we should go to capture the best photos around sunset. The photos are beautiful and I'm so thankful I found Nina! Great memories to cherish forever. Thank you Nina!

Nina was an absolute pleasure to work with and she made our wedding day everything we had hoped and more. We initially reached out to her whilst we were working in Central America. Our Caribbean wedding plans had just fallen through and with a month to piece it together, a hefty time change and our demanding work schedule; she made it happen. Her incredible photos enabled our families and friends to feel as if they were there. We are so grateful to her and the team she put together for us.
Nina came highly recommended to us through a travel photography company after we inquired about a photographer in the Queenstown/Wanaka area for our intimate wedding at the Cardrona Hotel. After perusing Nina’s work I was captivated by her portfolio so I knew straight away that Nina was the person we were looking for to capture the soul of our wedding. Nina lived up to all our expectations. She seamlessly worked her magic in the background of our wedding as we were getting ready and then shot our ceremony so beautifully and discreetly we didn’t even know she was there. Our family and friends were delighted with Nina as she effortlessly blended into the whole family. No easy feat with such a small gathering. Afterwards, Nina took us all to the Cardrona ski field for some amazing scenic photos that epitomise the high country theme we were after. My new husband and I also had our first pics at the top of the ski field where Nina captured the heart and soul of the landscape and the emotion in our hearts. Memories to last a lifetime; we are so grateful and highly recommend Nina.
My husband and I had an amazing Queenstown elopement wedding with Nina Henderson Photography. She was so much fun and very easy to work with. Taking care of all of the details for us so we just showed up and she went out of her way to get our pictures to us before we left New Zealand after our honeymoon.
Nina, we just wanted to say a big thank you for capturing our day. You were fantastic throughout, from the communication when we booked right through to getting the photos out to us much faster than we expected. You exceeded our expectations! We both dislike having our photos taken, so the photos were one aspect of the day that we weren't looking forward to. But looking back now they were one of my favourite parts!! You made it very relaxed so we could just be ourselves. It's so nice looking back on the day with fantastic moments captured. We had a lot of comments from our guests about how good you were at sorting the family photos etc. And those we have had a chance to share the photos with love them. Nina was so fantastic to work with and we absolutely love our photos. My husband was convinced we didn’t need a professional photographer for our wedding and I am so happy I proved him wrong (for the first of many times, ha ha). In all seriousness, Nina is professional yet relaxed and was able to offer us heaps of amazing images in a short span of time. Highly recommend her!
I could not be happier with Nina's work. Initially we didn't even want a photographer having seen many a posed wedding shot (with other photographers) and not really wanting to spend hours of our special day away from friends getting photos. We discussed that we wanted candid shots for our day and didn't really give Nina much time to do our separate bridal snaps. She definitely listened & was absolutely fantastic, the shots she took were so real and had so much feeling in them that every time I look back at the pictures I tear up. I could not recommend Nina enough, she is simply awesome and I am so happy we chose her for our wedding day. Thanks, Nina xx
Nina is a very professional photographer and kind person. She was available for us on a very short notice period. As we did not know the place she recommended very nice spots so we could take out engagement photo shoot. The delivery of the photos was quite quickly. Thanks Nina!
