enjoyed their happy hour 5pm-7pm/8pm with 6 G&T and some hot chips. What the standout here is their chicken wings! Buffalo sauce, perfect *chef’s kiss* and the home made blue cheese *drool* from an upstate-NY native, I can verify these are delicious buffalo wings! Don’t miss out on this gem when you’re in Wanaka!
While the food is good, the service is terrible, the girl behind the bar is rude and looked intoxicated. it took nearly an hour to get our food, they were not busy as we watched and waited to the point we asked to be refunded, on reviewing our order looks like we were also overcharged. 21 for just a burger?
We stopped at night for a quick snack. The food was excellent and nice staff. It was great to eat good meal somewhere late at night.
Poutine is nek level and the karrage burger is mouthwateringly delicious, highly recommend those things in combo.

By far the best restaurant/pub in Wanaka! We had been walking in 30 with our dog, after our car had broke down, and we stumbled across the Rove. We were welcomed in and our dog was automatically brought water! The staff were super friendly and our food and drinks were brought to us straight away. A lot cheaper an a more chill environment as opposed to the places down by the waterfront. 10/10 recommend!
