Just fabulous and so much fun. It turned out to be just me and the guide Frank who was great. My partner in the end couldn't do it due to not being too great with heights and Frank was super patient and encouraging despite having to still abandon it in the end. We did level 2 and I think most would be absolutely fine with this as it is not all that intensive physically speaking but i do think you definitely need to be comfortable with heights! Highly recommend!!

This is an awesome experience! Brilliant for families who want to do something that will challenge everyone. Mel was an excellent guide and the whole set up is top notch. We did level one which was perfect for our group and was a full morning experience by the time we left Wanaka and returned so the experience was great value.

An incredible experience that should not be missed. Our guides were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and always checking to see we were ok. I was out of my comfort zone at times, but I always felt safe. It was such an exhilarating experience and well worth it. Spectacular scenery, such a privilege to be able to do this special activity in such an awesome part of our country. Would definitely recommend it.

A unique and unusual experience like no other! Yasmin, our guide/instructor was great and made us comfortable. Personally I struggle with heights, but getting the ‘hang of it’ is easy and although there were one or two nervous spots, the views are spectacular and takes your mind off it. We throughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone!

What an amazing day ! Definitely a must do in Wanaka! I would recommend it at 1000000%. Such an original spot, climbing the waterfall! The view are spectacular! The team is very friendly, attentive and Helpful. I was a little bit scared but thanks to my instructor (Mel), I felt more and more confident and so happy! She really make me felt safe and confident! Thank you so much :D Everything was perfect for us! Thanks again Wild Wire Wanaka to make it affordable for all people! Cheeeers!

My wife and I did the Lord of the Rungs tour for her birthday. We have a great time. The guides were awesome and the climb itself was fantastic. No complaints about the helicopter ride down at the end!

My family 2 adults and 2 children had excellent experience of the climbing. Everyone was very happy. Staff are very caring. We recommended our friend’s family straightaway after we did the climbing. They will go to Wanaka in a few days and they would like to do the climbing as well. Highly recommended to everyone.

Incredible experience! Lord of the rungs was one of the best things we've ever done as a family. While it was totally exhilarating and challenging in view of the mind-blowing height aspect, it felt absolutely safe the whole time. The guides were fantastic - clearly expert, but also really relaxed and encouraging. It was almost bizzare to feel comfortable hanging off a sheer cliff face beside a waterfall. We're all reasonably fit, but were also pleasantly surprised that it was physically easier than we'd expected climbing that height (ie we weren't puffed) - probably as we did it at a nice pace, taking in the breathtaking views over the valley and lake. The helicopter view on the way down was also a really fun blast at the end.
