This is a treasure trove of NZ made yarn and garments (mostly merino, possum and recently NZ grown cotton. The yarns are high end, gorgeously squishy and wonderful colours. Excellent service from the well informed retailer who remembered us from a visit over a year ago.

I had been trying to get some Touch wool in Peacock colour from a workshop in Victoria Australia- only to be constantly told “it was on order”. I looked up Touch only to see it was “out of stock”. I contacted Wools of Wanaka who advised me that whilst they didn’t have it in their store they would contact their outlets for me. Anne Louise contacted me last week to advise she had the wool. I received it today. Absolutely thrilled with both the wool and the service- only wish I could get such service in Australia!
Amazing customer service! I came in to browse and ended up making a couple purchases because the staff was so kind and helpful, and the products are high quality. You can also order online and ship worldwide. The socks here are my mother's favorite, and she wears them every day. Great shop!
