It's awesome place to go. Can do a lot things, and know more about how honey produced, have honey test , honey ice cream and honey wine test! Wonderful honey latte with honey cookies! It's great place with child on weekend

Honey shop and cafe. All sorts of honey, plus extras like juices. Cafe has great ice cream with their own honey flavors. Good stop along the route north. Good parking. Added : the only reason it doesn't get 4 stars is because, well, it's essentially a honey shop, so if you haven't got a hankering for honey, it's not quite worth a special trip from Auckland.
Clean, spacious, open plan venue with some must have honey ice creams for sale in the cafe. Good price. A great pop in place when traveling up North for the kids to have a walk around and learn about the Bees. Fabulous car park and duck pond close at hand to have a sit down under a huge tree and feed the ducks. Recommend totally.
A lot of really good honey choices to pick from. There was one guy there that taught me so much about bees and how they operate, he really knows his stuff. The cafe was okay too
The honey centre was awesome. Cant wait for the cafe to have menu food again as the counter food was really good but not much choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Thanks for inquiring about the rating. It was simply that we have been to another honey place which had more activities for the kids, dress ups, educational videos, marking the Queen bee, jigsaws, and Q and A's I think. So we thought this might be a similar experience and take an hour for the kids but we were in and out in half an hour with some tasty honey and honey pot after talking to your friendly staff.
We got an amazing welcome here and a generous explanation of the honey and the bees. A great visit.
Great place to find quality honey, the lady was so friendly. And I got a good deal and bonus for sign up and being a member.
