Good for kids
Love the place. Great riverside cafes. Great town but very hard to get there from Auckland. Better check the traffic before you go. The road via Helensville is scenic but needs careful driving and is long. Nevertheless, Warkworth and surrounds is worth the trip.

Embarrassing to have overseas visitors wanting information but find you are closed on weekends! Things were different before you were managed by Auckland Council.
Abundance of information. Piano and kids park outside. Picturesque location. Friendly staff. Public toilets next door
