Heartland Potato Chips Ltd is rated 3 out of 5 in the category food production. Read and write reviews about Heartland Potato Chips Ltd. Heartland Potato Chips was established in late 2010 by Raymond and Adrianne Bowan, South Canterbury potato growers, after a lifelong ambition to see their product go all the way from the paddock to the shop shelf. With our plant located in Timaru we take advantage of the exceptional quality potatoes produced in this ideal growing region. This means it can take as little as 12 hours for a potato to be harvested, transported, and processed to become one of New Zealand’s favorite snack foods. Heartland Potato Chips are made with all the passion and professionalism of the South Island utilising local businesses where possible. Our products are made with our own unique blend of oils, low in saturated fat, trans fat free, and are one of the only Gluten Free potato chips on the market today. Heartland Potato Chips are a family owned business and as such are one of the few entirely “Kiwi Owned” snack companies in New Zealand. We believe in producing fresh, visually stimulating, quality snacks with a taste that is hard to match; this is why Heartland Potato Chips is fast becoming the product of choice for the New Zealand consumer.
