I can’t recommend Water Nomads highly enough! Throughout the whole process from renting to delivering the equipment Heidi did above and beyond to help me by selecting the right gear for me after 14 years without been in the water, she even went out of her way to connect me with windsurfers in the area where I was going so I could feel at home. Thank you so much Heidi for all you have done and surely this was the first time working with you but certainly not the last!!!

Great trip to Rangiputa with Heidi and Bevan from Water Nomads. Great accommodation right the water, good food, good company and great sailing conditions.
We had just the best time on the last Taradise trip. Accommodation right on the water front with spectacular views, fantastic vegetarian food and, of course, there was the sailing. Taranaki showed itself yet again to be the best waves ailing spots with 3 days of cross shore wind and clean, head high plus waves.
I got stuck in NZ with only my booties, after a long period away from the water with no windsurfing possibly whatsoever... I'm based in Samoa and just got so used to going out for a spin whenever I have a couple of hours free ahead. Not being able to do so was just driving me insane. I decided to put an end to it. After contacting WATER NOMADS and explaining Heidi my situation, not only I was able to hit the water again, with short notice, but with some of the best gear I had never tried as well (Dyno 95 thruster). Thanks WATER NOMADS for putting together everything: transportation, local spot advice, performing gear... . All it took me was a phone call and you gave your all to save my soul. Can't wait to catching up again !
The winter solstice trip north with Heidi and Bevan was a great experience. The clear water and white sands of Rangiputa to the impressive accommodation and food, all added to a wonderful trip. Great company also of course.
Great people, great advice, great service - all the greats! They had everything covered: gear hire, accommodation, amazing catering. More than that they've got the 'facilitating great experiences' down to a fine art. If you value your time (and who doesn't) you'll want to definitely check them out - wherever you are in Aotearoa/NZ, or thinking about visiting from overseas.
I came to New Zealand from Chile for a 2-month windsurf trip, and Water Nomads really helped me so much planning the journey and offering me high quality equipment! The were always available to answer my questions with kindness... even questions not direcrly related to windsurf, such as where to sleep or where to buy a car. Also, the prices for gear rental are very convenient and in extraordinary quality. I REALLY recommend Water Nomads for a windsurfing trip in order to use great equipment and also to avoid the airport pains because of carrying your own stuff.
