Great food, great service but had waited 2hrs for our table due to taking our contact details incorrectly. Music was so loud we gave up attempting to communicate between people at the table. Would recommend and go back. Would also recommend the cocktail bar nextdoor called 'The Library' again loud but food, dessert, cocktails and service - Excellent

Visited during their Indian Bollywood night during WOAP. Absolutely loved the service. Staff were really attentive, made sure we were comfortable, we’re always in hand to take our additional orders and food was cooked and delivered quickly. The food was tasty, however not fully authentic. It was a bold move changing the menu to Indian for the night, but they did a fantastic job. Would definitely visit again.

Really unassuming from the outside, but a quick walk up the stairs (or elevator) quickly reveals a very groovy restaurant and bar! Friendly staff, quick service even though it was busy, and great food. We also got an amazing deal of buy 1 meal get 1 free on Monday nights so stoked about that. Would highly recommend the chicken curry, this place is definitely worth checking out

This is one of my favourite restaurants to eat in Wellington. Waiters regularly check on your table and refill water, food is great (we love the masamum curry and lemon pepper squid for value. But the salmon parcels and blue cheese wantons are also amazing) and the food comes pretty fast. We like the atmosphere (some might find it a little loud and busy) and the music playlist is usually pretty good too.

Amazing drinks, calamari, miso soup, beef broth and tofu skewers, however the staff were rather rude. The beef (and the pork) dumplings were raw and literally pink inside so we didn’t eat them. The 15 lunch special is quite a good deal though.

Great evening dinner spot. Large range of meals catering to all food preferences and dietary requirements. Well priced and plenty of space for larger groups or smaller.

Best thing on the menu is their reputation which is now all they are trading on. Gone are the days of the innovative menu of fresh food to share. It's all deep fried plates not even garnished with the same sauces recycled from plate to plate. Previously great, now decidedly average.. Dissapointment if you have dined here previously. Avoid.

Horrendous service. It’s a real shame that Chow always has slack service. The food is amazing, with great options. But the experience is always ruined by the inattentive staff. Took an hour to get food and drinks. Once we finished they cleared our plates and never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Super disappointing.
