CAUTION! Be extremely careful when purchasing Gifts from this store. I recently purchase a gift for my mum for xmas after researching their online store. Their policy online states: " If for any reason you are not happy with your product, please contact us immediately. We need to be notified of your intention to return an item within 4 days of receipt of your order, and receive the returned item within 10 working days of receipt of your order. Returned products must be in original condition and securely packaged. Once they have arrived back safely we will either exchange it, provide a store credit or refund the purchase price at our discretion" I found out later that my mum has the exact same item i purchase but in a different colour so i went in store to ask for a cash refund. I was told no cash refunds and only an exchange or store credit. I asked for manager to contact me and he advised the same, that no cash refunds are given even though it specifically states on their website that they "will either exchange it, provide store credit or refund the purchase price". Although i know it says at their discretion, i was told there was no discretion and their policy only consists of exchanges or store credit. There was nothing else in store that my mum would like and it is not a store i would usually shop from. I am now left out of pocket and unable to purchase another gift my mum would like and be able to use for xmas. Will be submitting a complaint to the Commerce Commission regarding false advertisement under the Fair Trading Act. Thanks Cransfield! Edit: Regardless of what you are required or not required to do, this is false advertisement that your website clearly says refund of purchase price at discretion but then to be told only store credit or exchanges and absolutely no refunds. How can you justify that this is not misleading and false advertisement? I only purchased from your store after i read the return policy on the website.

Cranfields! The name says it all the only store in Wellington that has fabulously exquisite products. Gifts - choice never a problem, I have solved many wedding gifts and engagement and 21 birthday gifts condundrums at this store. I have sent gifts internationally and known that the person receiving the gift purchased would have something ' different' and maybe unique. I have also bought gifts for retiring Board members who have been delighted. So, for me Cranfields is THE store in Wellington with style and class.

Beautiful store. I come here to get special gifts for my whānau. They have a range of awesome local artists work and art which I always love to visit and purchase on special occasions. Highly recommend.
I have chosen to buy from Cranfields all the way from Melbourne, and though we have lots of choices here, I have to say that Cranfields beautifully curated selection is worth waiting for the voyage across the sea. I love that they feature local artists and I bought a beautifully crafted and unique silver brooch, which I adore.
When my family asks what I would like for my birthday I always request a gift voucher from Cranfields. Their selection is a bit different from everywhere else - all items are high quality, design tends to be classic (will last!) and I like the mix of NZ and imported items. Scarves, photo frames and jewellery are my favourites.
