Dave did a fantastic job of repairing a 19th century antique plate for me. The break is virtually undetectable, and the plate’s ready for its next 150 years. Great communication and super prompt service. Thoroughly recommended.
Dave did a beautiful kintsugi repair of a chip in a pottery piece made by a friend who died recently. It has restored it to a special and beautiful piece in memory of my friend and it means a lot to me. Great skills and great service!
Just had a class with Dave this morning as a birthday gift to my mum. It was lovely! We had great fun. Can't wait to see the final product
My friend and I had a really great time learning how to throw on the wheel and creating a cup each. We also did a glazing session which was really cool to be able to learn about. Dave is a patient and thorough teacher and we had lots of laughs too. We will be booking in for more sessions to create more beautiful ceramics!
Dave is an excellent teacher. Very patient, encouraging and enthusiastic in sharing his extensive knowledge. I really enjoyed myself. The finished product (a bowl) has been widely admired! I would highly recommend Dave to anyone wanting to get an understanding of pottery - a voucher is a great “experience” gift!
Had a really horrible experience with Dave. I had been warned that he was quite intense but I actually found him just mean. He was quite snappy and impatient. He didn’t explain things well and then talked down to me if I did a step wrong. I left early as he made me cry.
A friend and I had a lesson with Dave using the wheel, and then another lesson to glaze our pieces. We couldn’t believe we actually ended up with pieces we are both so proud of. All thanks to Dave who is an amazing teacher, and creates a welcoming environment and work space. Thanks so much Dave!
