If the best radio dj you know (for me it was John Peel) ran a record shop, this would be it. I've had three recommendations from the super friendly dude who runs it so far, and every one of them has been solid gold. I've been a music reviewer for years, and I'm a cantankerous so and so, but if I could live in a shop... Let's just say it may not be the best record shop in New Zealand, but it probably is the best shop in the world. Great decor, staff know everything about everything and you could easily lose a day rummaging... but win a ton of good music :)

The best record shop in New Zealand... and the world! Varied selection of new and second hand, big supporter and seller of local (and rare) releases, cool junk in the space that's left, awesome free in-store gigs and Bryan Browns, and Apa is always good for a chat.
