Always pleasantly surprised when we visit. I come here with my partner for the Vietnamese menu. We love that is a hidden Vietnamese takeaway/restaurant in a fish and chip joint. Good food, great price and we know we'll be able to dine in when ever we feel the urge to eat Vietnamese. First of all I have to mention the lovely staff, everybody was so friendly and welcoming even though we came in pretty late. The food was freshly made and absolutely delicious, huge portions for a cheap price. I'll definetly come back!

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine. The soup is rich and pho smooth. Spring roll is crispy and roast meat is tender. Reasonably large serving and reasonable prices. S

Worst fish and chips ever. Used to come to this place a few years ago and it was good. Sadly times have changed. Will never come back. Spring roll was rotten and the chips were over cooked, dry and grey. Would have tried the noodle soups but after this experience won’t be back.

The Pho here is richer then Saigon Taste (another popular Vietnamese restaurant in Wellingtons CBD). If that's your style then Fisherman's plate is a perfect fit. The fried food menu is well priced and good quality. Avoid the Sweet and Sour pork.
