International Primary Products (NZ) Ltd (IPP) was formed in 2009. We are primarily export log traders, with the addition of providing logistics services to Asia-Pacific, Indian and other markets. Our secondary business is offering services to forest buyers, helping them to find, analyse and secure stumpage (standing trees) in New Zealand and Australia which is ready or near ready for harvesting. IPP can provide management services following any successful stumpage acquisition. Our log export volumes are currently around 120,000 JASm3 annually. These volumes are provided by a stable supply group that includes a number of significant forest owners and management companies. Our export operations in New Zealand are predominantly through the ports of Auckland, Tauranga and Wellington. We also ship from the ports of Napier, Port Chalmers and Nelson. The IPP model differs from the typical “bulk” shipping option, in that we utilise standard shipping containers for our customer’s cargo. Via this method, we can offer solutions to almost any port in the world; shipping frequency can be as often as weekly, and our minimum order quantity (MOQ) is typically 10 x 40' containers per consignment. Our company has a small highly experienced team of people in New Zealand, located in Auckland, Tauranga and Wellington. At IPP, we strive to meet our customer’s demands. We can ensure a regular, efficient and cost effective solution, which allows our customers to procure inventory in small volumes with a lower level of capital outlay at any one time.
