I have traded for a number of years and find Jarden Direct to be the most user friendly and efficient platform available. Being able to chat directly with traders is also a huge win in my books. Thank you Jarden Direct!

I would not recommend this company. They took over from ANZ brokers and their customer service is substandard. They direct debited our account when the funds were in credit after telling us to credit our account before trading and caused unnecessary fees.

They are wonderful at what they do they have been very helpful above and beyond the call of duty I would give 10 star's if I could.

Prefer to deal with a Direct Broker who puts the shares in my name rather than a custodial broker who holds the shares on my behalf. It is much better to receive communication directly from the company. Everything is online, so I haven't needed any support.

Very hard-to-use website with unclear information of client account number

I am afraid I agree with the other reviews. Since it went from ANZ to Direct Brokering to now Jarden - the service is not acceptable. I find the staff combative, difficult to deal with - you have to jump through all the hoops to get things done. I would suggest its not the front line staff - but it sits with the management or leadership team. They appear to consistently change their processes and policies. You cant speak directly to someone who makes a business decision and you ask to speak to someone and they are never available or their phone system wont allow the staff to transfer you to someone else. Really in this day and age you cant speak to a department to get answers or ask questions? I sometime wonder why I bother. There are alternatives to this company - I only use as a trade on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Its great that you purchase the shares in your own name and have communication directly from the companies you invest in, however, the service is severely over priced.
