Julie on the front desk was extremely rude went in to transfer between accounts as one of them are locked for personal reasons which I thought I didn't need to express or share with her.. there was a line out the door with extremely slow service from her once I get to the till and ask what I wanted she proceeds "that's very annoying when there's a line out the door what a waste of my time you should unlock your account your annoying" I thought I was a customer like everyone else very disgusting behaviour from someone that's supposed to be there to help.

The queues are a huge stinker. There's still no progress on efficiency dealing with humans in real life banking. Kiwi Bank is still probably NZ's recommended financial institute.

Jason was really helpful and efficient to open our bank accounts. This guy was super fast and definitely knows his job. He even took care of our IRD registration in a blink of an eye.
I wouldn't normally put a star rating for something like this but saw the overall review and thought that it was too different from my own experience. The staff were extremely helpful and I had no issue whatsoever with the service
I was in earshot of staff suggesting I'm gay. But I'm not I was abused as a child. I'm there to use a postal service not expecting this bs

Terrible customer service! My partner and I were sending off the same IRD application forms which required identification to be verified. My partner had his check and his passport photocopied with no bother. However the older man, who I was dealing with refused to photocopy mine saying I must provide the copy myself and that they don't photocopy there. He refused to acknowledge that my partner just had his photocopied from another member of staff and that surely he would need to see the original document to verify it?? He then just threw my papers to the other desk without a care in the world for me to leave. I then went to a different branch with the exact same documents and my passport (not a photocopy of it) and the advisor had no problem with anything I provided. Clearly the man couldn't be bothered! I will never be back.
