I had a very unpleasant experience with the two men who came to collect the goods that I donated. They were hostile, rude and aggressive. One man,the younge of the two who was wearing a bright yellow workers vest was quite confrontational, extremely aggressive and refused to let me pass him in my hallway. I will never use this service in the future. I prefer the Wellington City Mission who are always fantastic when I have used their services in the past.

My wife Julie received the exemplary care from the Doctors, Nurses, staff and Volunteers at Mary Potter Hospice. I can not speak highly enough of the love, care and attention she received. After she passed Julie was treated with great dignity. It was if she was one of an extended family. Mary Potter should be supported by all Wellington residents and my family will be making a substantial donation. Thank you Mary Potter. Watson Family.

I visited my grandfather at this hospice. They gave a fantastic service, with clean rooms, and an individual room when he needed it. I think he enjoyed his final days here. They suited his needs perfectly, and the service seemed to be pretty good. Thanks for helping grandpop before his passing.

When friends have needed palliative care Mary Potter has let them down by not being available to them or for them. Mary Potter deserves only one star but I added one as I think they are working with an inequitable system, (where some people are very cared for and supported - others have a harder and more painful death as for them Mary Potter provides little or no care). With only a couple of dozen inpatient beds, plus people who work in the community - and\u200b a city to support, dare I suggest that money, PLUS how are implemented, is a rapidly in need of review.

My mum was a guest at the Mary Potter Hospice and received exemplary care from staff and volunteers alike. She felt very secure, safe and valued by all the wonderful staff. The people involved didnt meet my expectations they exceeded them. When mum entered care she was already at lifes exit door, but we got to spend another 5 weeks with her before she departed. I cannot rate them high enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The previous poster needs to realise that MPH has space for 14 guests and unfortunately there isn't always bed space available.
