Lovely community space. The yellow pohutukawa is in flower at the moment!

Great park that's pretty sheltered, nice and flat. It sits between the Bowling Club at one end, and Tennis Club at the North end. A long driveway runs alongside the park which connects the two where you can also park along under the trees, which also offer share on a sunny day on the fence or park benches. Might just need to head to either end car park to turn around, otherwise there's parking in the entrance or or on the street. Surrounded by local cafes and a dairy is great for coffee or sweets, which you can also access by a path next to the tennis courts. Park toilets are disappointing as the mens doesn't even have a sink to wash your hands, or a tap to refill a water bottle so that's disappointing.

The park is great, set up for all ages of play, however dog owners are letting it down, had to halt play today to remove dog s"! t, spotted two other droppings on other parts, need to enforce a ban as young kids don't want a face full of it.

Huge space. Very excited to now be able to exercise dogs there (on leash). Can be windy, and not much shelter from the sun on a summer afternoon. Well maintained. Can be boggy in winter. Fairly good layout for moving cars, but not much parking. (Great for bicycle access.) Main access is from Para St - also access to walk through to Puriri St, Park Rd or Camperdown Rd.
