Went here for Nandos twice in 3 days, fantastic service. Manager at the front had excellent service, and chicken was always fresh and tender.
We really tryed to enjoy our meal but we couldn't enjoy our meal because of the louldness of the kitchen, I think my children are more mature
Relatively often I come to Wellington for business and I was staying for more than one night Nando’s was on my list of dinner places. But over the last year or so the quality of food is in steady decline. Before New Year I had family visiting from overseas and when we went to this Nando’s they mixed up the order and didn’t get one side dish. At least food was ok. Today I got a Supremo burger and it was probably the worst chicken burger I had. Chicken was rubbery, tomato slice was half green, half pink and thick. Best part was the bun. Fries were better but just marginally because half of them were undercooked. It will be a long time before I even consider visiting them again. Shame, I did enjoy their Mediterranean salad long time ago.
Besides some of the grumpy staff the meal is good.. staff way better in Porirua.. I guess the standard has dropped little in years I have known.. but still hands down good food as yet..
Can't go wrong with a cheeky Nandos. Fried halloumi and chicken ribs to start followed by chicken tenders and 1/2 a chicken with chips and a drink. Absolutely amazing flavour throughout. Quick and easy service combined with a great vibe throughout the restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone in Wellington. Nice food at a reasonable price, in the heart of Wellington. Also the chicken with lemon and herb is the best!
We came to Nandos pretty excited to get my first one in nearly two years. Also it was my girlfriends first time, very keen to impress. We weren't impressed, at all. We arrived to a near empty restaurant. Took our own table because all seven staff (apart from cashier who was on the phone) were busy playing, laughing and joking in the kitchen. Went up to order and waited for one of the staff at childrens daycare to serve me. They didnt, even though they were looking at me waiting. Food came fast (it appears that the kids woke up from their nap and snack time) but the portions were small especially for the price. The cashier was lovely but we wont be back. Spend your money somewhere else.
