Right next to New World in Newlands, this is a very well stocked Indian grocery store. It has many varieties of Indian goods, spices, pickles, teas, snacks and Indian branded biscuits. The staff are very cordial and are cheerful. The hot fresh Samosas are an absolute treat.. There are a few authentic foods from Sri Lanka too.. Certainly a boon to the Asian communities living in and around Newlands..

Good news for all Sri Lankan food lovers this place has some authentic Sri Lankan food items including but not limited dried fish, samba rice, bottled pickles, bottled polos (young jack-fruit), palm syrup (kithul peni), jaggery, soya meat, papadam, string hopper flour, rice flour etc .. have been travelling to kilbernie to find these stuff without realising that this shop has it all...
Decent store in terms of product array but be careful with their billing. More than once we have accidentally found out mistakes in their billing (of course with me paying more each time). They generally don't give a bill till you ask them, so would suggest asking for it everytime and checking it. Also check carefully while buying powder Jaggery from there. Often times we have seen boxes with fungus in them. Pointed it out to the staff. They know it but still keep them on the shelf.
Awesome Indian store in Wellington. Very competitive price and wide range of products. Great puja items, Indian spices and frozen fruits and veggies.
Always good service they need to consider providing disposable bags like other spice shops
