The food here is awesome, the atmosphere is great. I'm a vegan so I had a limited choice of food. The staff were great and changed some dishes around to give me something to eat. We'll definitely be back

Good ambiance and nice staff. Not so good at taste. Price v/s quantity is not so good. Nice for those who just enjoy to drink have bit to munch on.

Restaurant needed heaters. Very average service. Not asked how meal going (or when paid) .... Know why... Luke warm burritos avg size but full of rice not so much chicken etc, enchiladas so tiny and covered in so much sauce that you couldn't see the tiny enchilada. Heavy metal type music playing half the time instead of fun Mexican music. Coke was a glass FULL of ice with a splash of coke. Can't recommend.

Was given a voucher for my birthday to dine there. Overall we enjoyed it. The drinks were good and food enjoyable. Portions were slightly smaller than we anticipated. Staff were friendly and accommodating to us as we also came to dine there with both kids (3 yr old and 6 months old bby). Great location and interior design was awesome. Clean bathrooms!!! Will definitely be back

For the day of the dead event, I was chasing maitre d for nearly 2 hours while being there to inquire about placing my deceased mum's photo. Waited half an hour for the waiters to approach our table. Starters and drinks arrived within 15 minutes and were tasty. For the main, waited an hour to arrive, only to taste dry overcooked meal. Would not go back there again!

Nice ambience, good sangria, but be aware they cool their meals very mild. Ask for hot sauce to be put on your table if you like your mexican spicy.

Been here several times and each time they haven't failed to impress. Can't believe I am the first to review as I know a fair few people who rate this place as their favourite restaurant in Wellington. Definately the best Mexican in the city. I love the fitout too.

Finally had a chance to stop in at the new location. The décor is captivating, building up an experience from the moment you walk in the door. The menu has undergone a change as well. Some old favourites were still on the list, but I was keen to try something I hadn't already tasted. There was absolutely nothing to fault. The food still takes first prize on the list of reasons to go. I would have loved to have dinner on the patio, but there were smokers out there, which doesn't fit with my notion of dinner. I have a feeling that it'll be hard to be the only group out there. Even for a Sunday evening, the place was pretty busy.
