Good for kids
A very nice secluded spot in the East cost bays in Wellington. Easily approachable via public transport and road too. The views from the point are awesome and exceptional on a clear sunny day. The walks to the point and down to Breakers Bay are enjoyable and require a normal fitness level. The large ships sailing through the Wellington harbour can be seen from here and present a great sight. Fort Dorset is also a nice little attraction to be visited here. Well recommended for half a day trip and picnic.

Another great Wellington coastal walk close to the city. The coastal track is also suitable for walking dogs and all levels of fitness
