Great hands on cooking class. Learnt some tasty, authentic Indian recipes. Location and atmosphere were perfect. Anu (cooking teacher) was lovely, provided great conversation and tips on where to source the best ingredients. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience! Anu is an excellent teacher and wonderful host. My husband and I enjoyed an incredible experience in her 'kitchen with a view', learning how to make roti, eggplant curry, dal, jeera aloo and perfect basmati rice. She shared heaps of useful tips about spices and how to use them, where to get them and their health benefits. The food was sensational and we're excited about cooking the recipes for our family and friends. Highly recommend!
My girlfriend and I had a lovely evening class where Anu taught us how to make Shahi paneer, garlic naan, spicy rice and a delicious rice dessert, all from scratch including the Paneer and all the spice mixes! We learned lots of tricks, including how to make delicious fluffy restaurant-style Naan at home! Anu's kitchen setup is amazing, with epic views out over the city and Anu was a brilliant, patient teacher, answering all our questions! Would highly recommend! Thanks!
We booked a class and there was only the two of us so we had an amazing hands on experience with Anu. Her place is a specially designed kitchen with wonderful views of Wellington. It was an inspirational experience and since the class, I have been motivated to try all the recipes we made ion the day. Anu is very patient and explained ideas and stories behind Indian cooking. She demystified this cuisine for me so I now have great confidence in my own cooking ability. Plus we had a great nosh up after all the food was prepared. Thank you Anu! Julie and Sooze

If you get an opportunity to go to Sheila's Indian Kitchen you must! It was a fantastic experience, hands on and a small group which was perfect.
Great experience, Anu is very knowledgeable and easy to chat with and the food was delicious. It's also a nice clean set up with a great view. We learned a lot and had fun with a wonderful feast after.
Had a another wonderful time with Anu. The new teaching kitchen was even better than the class I took several years ago. Informative, fun and delicious... recommend!
