A hip cafe with very customised interior deco. From various currency notes to random items and stuff on the wall, every inch is covered with something interesting. Waffles with fried chicken portion was perfect with tender chicken. The waffles could be slightly more crispy but was still great. My latte was also well done. Finally its a LGBT friendly cafe, pride flags everywhere.

Food was very yummy. Waffles well done , very nice soft pulled pork and delicious fish, thick and creamy hollandaise sauce, beautiful eggs. I just felt quite uncomfortable among so many random, weird and ugly stuff chaoticly thrown around like, for example, a bloody cut foot on a wall, an arm on the ceiling, a mannequin head at the bar, a huge fluffy spider and etc. And the bathroom was also quite uncomfortably ugly, dark and a little dirty.
Great service with amazing food and drinks, we had a variety of dishes around the table and no issues whatsoever. The place was quite busy which is standard as it is very popular. Unfortunately they were also a little short on staff but they handled everything so well and we didn't have to wait long. They have worked hard to deserve this amazing reputation and I'll definitely keep coming back.
Delicious New Orleans style comfort food. Cheerful and upbeat with excellent service and huge portions. Definitely don't miss this! Perfect place for a lunch or dinner with friends. Great music and vibrant decor - and they're open until late, so they're one of the few places in Welly you can buy coffee in the evening.
I go to this place several times per week, usually for breakfast or just coffees. The position, ambience, service, and food, are outstanding. The cuisine is utterly delicious, and one of the things I most like about Sweet Mothers is that the menu is not "the typical" - instead, imagination and creativity have been used. This sets it apart from most other venues. Sweet Mothers team are the most lovely people, you will feel treated like family by them. Excellent service. A top place.
This place is really delicious and affordable! The servers are friendly but not over the top. We went in on a Saturday morning and were seated immediately, no wait, and ordered coffees, beignets, and breakfast food. All of it was so good and came quickly with no pressure for us to get out quickly.
Staff are always so friendly and the menu is massive so lots to choose from and something for everyone!! Recommend for a cheap meal out. So reasonably priced but so good. Great ambience too.
One of my absolute favourite places in the my home city the decor is fun and quirky, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely to die for! My particular favourites are the “Moose”, chicken in a basket and any of the shakes! Especially good for when you’re not feeling so flash and need some comfort.
