This truck is, for me, the highlight of the Rotary fair in Petone every year. They may be famous for their Japanese fried chicken - I can’t comment on that, since I don’t eat meat, but I sure can sing praises for their tempura veggie bowl... perfectly cooked sushi rice, pickled veg, crispy tempura veg, fresh veg, lovely combo of sauces and sesame seeds... YES, PLEASE. The balance of flavours and textures is on point. The chef has put his own twist on Japanese cuisine without disrespecting it. This truck serves high quality food made with care and a deft hand. I wish I could say the same for every food truck I’ve patronised. If they had a location in my neighbourhood I’d visit every week. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

This was exactly what I wanted to have for my lunch. So many Vegetables inside Sushi burrito! It would help me to get the amount of vegetables that I need each day. My favorite was JFC!! I love Garlic Miso sauce
