The Impact Awards launched in 2019 to celebrate young New Zealanders making a difference for our future, with $20,000 in prizes awarded across four categories – #climate, #enterprise, #inclusion, #wellbeing. The Awards Ceremony sold out, attracting 400 guests including senior leaders from business, government and community sector. The 2020 Awards will be another level up, with the Awards Ceremony set to take place on Saturday 25th July in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, the same weekend as Festival for the Future. The Impact Awards, and Festival for the Future are both initiatives from the team at Inspiring Stories – the Kiwi charity backing young New Zealanders to change the world.
