Very disappointed. I took my laptop in to have it upgraded about August 2018. We left it with the company and went overseas. They did a good job and put in a new SS hard drive and put the laptop back to Windows 8.1 which worked much faster than Windows 10. So far so good. Then about a month ago I started getting messages that my Windows licence would expire at the end of March and I had to use my activation key to continue. This annoying message continued to come up. When I took the laptop back the owner was no help at all, took no responsibility for the situation and despite trying to get him to work with me to fix the problem I got the brush-off time and time again. He told me I would have to buy a key somewhere else but when I tried, I found that they are no longer sold. I felt he was dishonest in clearly loading a version of Windows on my PC that was not legal and then dishonest to not admit that I would not be able to obtain a key anywhere else. What began well enough ended very badly. The worst service I have had for many years.

Amazing service. I have used Ways a couple of times. Their service is fast and efficient. They keep you informed every step of the way. AND they bought by iPad back from the dead. I thought it was unusable - and it is now alive and well - amazing :)

prompt service, laptop is working again but if it fails the interim costs will be subtracted from the total cost. very fair. I have used these guys a few times and they operate a very good service.

quite unsatisfied with these people to be honest I handed in my laptop with something wrong with the fan it says on their site that they take 3 days to get back to you with the diagnosis, it took them 2-3 weeks to get back to me, and they had already had the diagnosis and were already trying to fix it without contacting me before hand. after another week and a bit they finally got back to me and said they couldn't do anything to fix my laptop. when I went in to pick up my laptop I asked if they could send me an email with what was officially wrong with the laptop, the man seemed confused that nothing had already been sent and told me the technician would be in on saturday to send me one, by monday they hadn't sent anything so I sent them an email asking and on wednesday they sent a vague and undescriptive text saying what was wrong. Also when I handed my laptop in I warned the man that there was a slight crack on the side of my laptop and for them to be careful with it when opeining it up, he said yes but didn't seem to process what I had told him because about 10 seconds later he forgot my name and had me write it, I only realised on saturday that my laptop had came back with a huge hole in the side where the cracked part has fallen off, and nothing was said to me about it from them, and they didn't even give me the piece. I would not recommend these people it seems like their communication is terrible and unprofessional

Had my smartphone repaired by Ways. Never encountered such appalling service. They replaced the screen. It lasted one hour of usage, then broke under simple prodding. It had not been fitted correctly (also was not the right size screen). Ways refused to honour the warranty obligation and would have us contribute to the repair. We refused. We are now 159 worse off and the phone is still broken. We asked for a refund; they will not communicate with us. This is the most horrible service imaginable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Your response is nonsense. I have tried to contact the "manager" several times, always unsuccessful. Phone calls, emails, texts, no response. Of course it's physical damage, caused by your incompetence. I can accept that some repairs are faulty, but I do expect a much better, customer-oriented response when this happens. Your reputation is of no concern to you.

Really fantastic experience. Came in with a water damaged screen at 5pm and it was fully fixed and operational by 4pm the next day. Great service at a great price.

Wow. First they failed a promise of 5-7 days to get the part (a replacement screen for a relatively recent phone). Then they failed the further 5-7 days they claimed from checking. They also failed to update as promised. Then they even manage to mess up a "we'll call you back in 15-20 minutes". It's been a month with no communication at all from them, it has all been at my initiation. Astonishingly, the part was delivered while I was in the shop being told refunds could only be supplied after an email. Further update: the replacement part they sourced did not work! And after another week still failed to communicate. Went to a different shop and they replaced the screen immediately. In short, try anywhere else.
