One of the best places to geek out!! If you are into the movie lores or just love figurines, you can easily spend the whole day just in the shop to admire everything on display. The tour was great too. Very informational about what they have done. The best of all is that the tour guide is a huge geek as well and you can tell that they are so immersed in the stories and movies as well. Highly recommended.

Magical experience. Guide was fun and knowledgeable. Especially loved Thunderbirds sets. Really took me back to my childhood

Definitely worth the trip. A bus on Manners St in the CBD takes you almost to the front door of Weta Workshop and only costs 5 per person. The tour was interesting and thorough and although I would have liked to have seen more stuff, I felt it was definitely worth the reasonable price of 28 per person.

Great place to visit for some really cool memorabilia from heaps of different movies, other than lotr too! Worth a trip. Deffs book ahead as it sells out really quick. We did the workshop tour and I would say it was more akin to a museum than a workshop tour, but still very cool stuff to see what they have done and how the workshop has influenced the movie world Very knowledgeable staff! Thanks

A must visit place in Welly and if you are Lord of the Rings fan. They just bring you around their studio, you can have a look at the props and understand what's going on ! I would say it's worth the money. Oh one thing you aren't allowed to take photos inside but they have a place where you can take photos Plus they have this amazing guy who made props from tin foil ! Beat that
