While my gingery-beer was enjoyable the calamari and fried chicken both were not very crispy, which suggests to me that the frying oil wasn't hot enough. Also the Sichuan pepper flavour wasn't there which was disappointing because I love that flavour and I know that flavour, I have Sichuan peppercorns in the pantry. Maybe I just had some bad luck

The experience was normal, it was a restaurant which brews beer, the staff were friendly and polite. The beer was delicious. The popcorn cauliflower was some of the best I've had. Now let's talk about the solo, the meal, the reason I went. TLDR I won't be going for the Korean vegan burger again. Don't get me wrong the experience was fine and some of it had its benefits. In saying that I won't return for the burger. I was dissapointed in the attempt, have I had better seitan burgers? Ofcourse, I've made better. The burger fillings were quite nice, the apple and salad were a nice touch, the patty however was uneventful and dry, it was tough and tasted like it had been reheated from a few days a go, had the texture of a quick microwave reheat. Would I return to whistling sisters beer Co? Yes, but not for the burger, ill return for the cauliflower and beer, they were delicious.

A great spot for craft beer and tapas. The strawberry beer was not to my taste as it wasn't sufficiently "beerish", but not a disappointment because I was given a generous sample to try before ending up ordering an IPA. Attentive and intelligent service. Clean and efficient. Plenty of people watching being on a pedestrian busy corner. The "Sisters" WC has soft pink lighting improving the complexion and meaning that one exits feeling more attractive than when one arrived. Have been here twice before and consistently good.

Consistently good food and service. Had calamari which was stuffed with sausage. Delicious! Pulled pork burger and chicken wings very good as well. Will be back to try brunch.

Not sure I am qualified to review this place as we had a bottle of pleasant Wairarapa Pinot Noir and no beer. Food though was average, the platter we had was sparse and the calamari strange. Will return for a pint and may change this review.

The bathrooms are nice! And so are the food and drinks. The burgers here are always excellent

Good selection of beers. Food is pretty good too. Service can suffer but not bad by any measure. A good choice for a craft beer lover after a good selection of sharing plates.
