Some of the tracks were closed and we really wanted to see the takahe but they have been moved up the park so they aren't overly close. A great walk out though. Not too challenging.

Awesome!!! Saw creatures I've only seen in books. Walked right up passed the dam, one of the workers was introducing native fresh water sponges!!!! Didn't even know we had them! Wow. That's not a fraction of what I saw, Thank you ZealandiaWellington

Brought my family here during the later part of the day and it was very lovely. The staff were very kind and showed my darling daughter the Tuatara. We also saw a lot of birds. A must do in Wellington!

A great place for a stroll through a reserve. Very relaxing to hear the birds singing all around you. Very fun for kids to spot all the different types of birds. The display area is also very informative. A great way to spend the day.

Great afternoon at Zealandia. I highly recommend the guided tour. Lot's of information about the journey the reserve has experienced.

Came back 2 days in a row since a pass covers entry on 2 consecutive days. Great walks. Well maintained tracks and plenty of information. Was awesome to see native birds that I haven't seen before

Brilliant day out can go for an hour or the day. Good food available only negative was my carrot cake was far to dry. But hey I got over that with all the amazing wildlife.

An outstanding ecosanctuary in the heart of a big City. Many lovely trecks and wildlife experience. A true nature reserve in Wellington. Highly recommended. Free shuttle from the Wellington cable car station.
