Very slow drinks service. Restaurant was basically empty. Waited 20 mins for drinks. This should be prompt. Were not offered any more drinks after glasses were empty. Entree was great. Not enough bread. Main was average. Butternut and goat cheese ravioli. Ravioli cooked well. Filling a bit dry. The whole dish was dry as there was no sauce. Not balanced all very bland. Disappointing as this could have been an amazing dish.

Excellent food. Amazing tapas and mains. Great atmosphere and thoughtful interior design creating and warm and welcoming space. Highly entertaining, but always professional, French waiter made the evening complete. I would definitely come back for an event or intimate dining experience.
Our second visit but this time with friends. Service, food and atmosphere were great. Our waitress was lovely and quite knowledgeable of what was on the menu. Shame we didn't ask for her name because I could have given her a shout out. We're definitely coming back. Check out the photos I posted.
Lovely food and staff. We went on a week night around 5 and it was quiet, but at least that meant we had the full attention of the staff! The place also smelt like mulled wine and that's never a bad thing!
Beautiful meal, the best I have had out in a very long time! Staff were superb, real assets to the restaurant. Keep up the good work, we will be back!
Incredible food and the best customer service I have ever received. Always at least one delicious vegetarian option for each course. Don't leave without trying the dessert platter - you'll remember it forever!
Two weeks prior to a special celebration evening with my husband in Wellington I made a reservation online for this restaurant. I phoned a couple of times to try to confirm the booking but my calls always went through to an answer phone. On the last call I left a message about wanting to confirm my booking. When we turned up for the evening we found the restaurant closed. There was no note on the door explaining why. The next day we had a phone call from the restaurant to say that they were closed the previous night and that they hoped we hadn't turned up. When I explained that we had, and that there was nothing on their website saying they would be closed that night, that nothing came up when I was on the online booking system saying they were closed, they agreed lots went wrong but offered no compensation for our troubles. A really disappointing, unprofessional encounter, to say the least. This restaurant is not recommended. However, we ended up having a great evening hopping between other restaurants in the city for each of our different courses. Shop around.
Still exceptional dining experience after all these years. Definitely need to upgrade their eftpos from a fixed line though... sending customers out to get cash is a bit Meh! In 2018.
