A must stop! So many indoor gardens with amazing flowers and what not. Lots of bbqs around and lots of green space. Definitely stop by here and check it out.

Great place for a picnic or visit. Lots of use and variety of things to do and see. Alternative road return to Whanganui if wanted. Interesting plants and history.

Great place for a free bbq, picnic and walk. A good family place with plenty of parking. Beautiful gardens with enough space for everyone to play games.

What a DAG

Beautiful Gardens and interesting history behind them. Always a nice drive out followed by nice walk in the garden and around lake. Well worth return visits.

A little out of town from Wanganui, and a world away Free to see, but give a small donation at the on site information lounge. If you like to see and smell a whole range of flowers and plants, this is the place for you. On site BBQ's, plenty of shade, a small lake, and plenty of space for picnics and games.
