We stopped in here for breakfast this morning, the while place has a rustic and unpretentious feel to it. There are relaxed dining spaces outside on a nice day. The cabinet selection was excellent lots of different filled croissant baguette, pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice, and all the food we bought tasted amazing. The only issue was the coffee, the reason we stopped in the first place, was quite average. It might have been an ID day for the barrister? I don't know but we'll go back again to check, just because we like the atmosphere and the food was great.
Beautiful ambiance, lovely staff great coffee and tea. They make their own breads and French treats. It's lovely sitting in the garden amongst all the plants.
Very nice place for share good moments with family or friends. There is a beautiful room and a backyard, where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food with real french cheeses and homemade pastries, and coffee is just perfect! If you come in Whakatane don't miss this place.

Almond Tart was excellent. Big Loaf of White Bread was just sooooo good. And the service was something else. We got there really late. Only Almond Tart and Chocolate Ganache were left. Honestly, just grab whatever is left. Its the real thing. As they say in French...delicieuse!!!!
Excellent coffee, for sure the best croissants in New Zealand (I suggest the almond croissant for those without nut allergies) and a lovely, warm atmosphere. In the summer time I suggest sitting outside at one of the tables amongst the prolific tomato plants. Just gorgeous.
