We were lucky. 2 exhibitions on in the hall today; both worth visiting. (Quilting and high school art). Adequate toilet facilities indoors. A clean and tidy venue. I didn't notice if seating was available.

It's a nice place for community events such as Sunday Market.
I visited the grounds around the Memorial Hall. A big piece of well cared for green space right near the town centre. Adjoins the acquatic centre, tennis and and Croquet Clubs. As well as sport features it's a great place to exercise or walk your dog. No exercise equipment provided though.
Quite a good medium sized venue. Felt cozy. There was a problem with the ovens that caused a few hiccups in kitchen but if that was fixed the kitchen was quite well equipt with commercial chiller, dishwasher and large sinks and prep areas.
Went to assist as a Volunteer on Christmas Eve for the 2020 Christmas lunch open to the public. With prior experience volunteering in Auckland for the Christmas lunch I showed up to offer my assistance. The person in charge advised me to leave my name and contact details. The hall wasn't that clean with tables set up for the lunch. Nobody seemed to connect with each other. I decided not to offer my services after all.
Council rent the hall out for any occasion
Serves it's purpose as a community facility.
Very nice hall for school plays or any big gathering.
