Chilli Cove has a wonderful range of curries, all equally delicious. Great service and reasonably prices. We went early but were glad we had made a reservation as the restaurant filled up quickly. Obviously lots of people know how good it is!

Absolutely delicious! Great presentation, flavor, feels authentic (not too creamy or oily - just right). Highly recommend the chicken tikka, also had the bhindhi (okra) and paneer patiyala, both quite good. Dessert was good too! Loved the chocolate samosa, with one caveat - couldn’t get the taste of cumin out of my mouth! I believe they use the same samosa crust as the normal/savory ones. I’d strongly urge the team to use a crust that doesn’t have cumin, maybe sugar instead.
My first time dining here & it was very pleasant indeed, I enjoyed everything that I ordered and was very happy with the flavours, as was my partner. I will be back for more!!. Whangamata NEEDS more GOOD RESTAURANTS like Chilli Cove
There are some restaurant's food worth waiting for and enjoy it with nice ambience ... reasons is very obvious...As they never compromise the quality of food and Best service.. We have been to various places to try out new foods but our experience with Chilli Cove was THE BEST..... perfect place for Indian food.. One must ..must visit if you visit Whangamata.. BTW this was our fourth visit..
Gorgeous Indian dinner this evening at Chilli Cove and so great to enjoy a good catchup with a very good friend and my darlings first time to Whangamata. If your ever in town this is the best food, amazing customer service always checking if your ok, and how the food is and engaging with their customers. 5 stars
Easter Monday... super busy restaurant..but AJ and his team were marvelous... one should give them full credit as all staff serving delicious food with smile... keep it up guys.. see you soon

The food was good .......when it eventually arrived. We had booked a table for 6.30 pm and were served our food at gone 8 pm. We waited over 20 minutes just for someone to take our order and weren't impressed that customers who came in after us were served first. We totally understand if you are busy/short staffed but please let us know so that we have the option to go somewhere else.
