Lovely place to take the family to see The Beach Hop too look at beautiful cars, when it's on or to go fishing of the wharf or just to visit. Very bustling township.

If you've got young kids make sure you take them to Whangamata Wharf for a great time jumping in the water.

A beautiful small sandy swimming spot, yachts and small boats marina to Whangamata beach. Toilets are near by at the Whangamata ocean sports club.
Stunning views. Great place for jumping into the harbour and fishing off the wharf.
Great for the kids to have a swim. Fishing is really only good for the kids, maybe I need more patience
One of my most favourite spots for swimming. Great fun for the family, crystal clear water.
