Not only were the chips the best I have had in a long time, I also was able to bring in my own fresh caught fish for them to batter and cook at only 1 per filet. Polite, quick and friendly. I wish I could get the lovely young man who wrapped it all up to wrap all my Christmas gifts, it was done so nicely (weird thing to note I know, but I was impressed). We will definitely go back again. They also offer standard salt and chicken salt, as well as doing gluten free (but not celiac as it is all cooked in the same, though fresh, oil).

Excellent, new favourite Fish & chips shop in wanganui, fresh fish & light batter, excellent to serve Gurnard too plus had good variety & options in menu, the mussels and scallops were very nice also, friendly cheerful staff, easy parking, will return

The wait can be a bit long, which just shows how nice these fish and chips are. Vege burger is nice. Fairly well priced. Chips are good, although not the biggest scoop in town. For takeaways that are just a little bit fancier, this is a good place to go.

Great service excellent quality fish tasty batter and yum chips. Well drained and very enjoyable. Had the best feed of fish and chips in years. (I have owned my own fish and chip shop and seldom find takeaways this good). And I didn't get reflux afterwards!! Definitely recommend
