Picked up our new modem this morning.We were attended to by Lucie,pleasant professional young lady. Does urk me a little that everytime you go into Spark Wanganui there is a wait to be attended to,even though we were there just after 9am.But this is big business now staffing at a mimimum,no reflection on Lucie.

I have visted the Whanganui store twice in the last month and several times prior to that. They are seriously understaffed. On each occasion the wait time was excessive and during lockdown customers were asked to wait in a freezing cold and windy street outside the store. Maybe make appt times for people to come back. Also, after waiting 15 mins to ask for help with a Spark plan phone with no sound, a young woman entered the store and was looking at new phones. The first free retail asst immediately went to offer help to her!!!! I did verbally protest and he changed track and helped me (I wasnt looking at new phones abd I'm guessing they earn commission) VERY POOR SERVICE SPARK
The retail facility is well laid out. Phones and product on display entice ... The busy little shop had a good sized team and my wait time was less than10 minutes. What I find almost unbelievable - is that Spark's policy and practise of not allowing me, as property owner, to make a contract for a new connection - even though the previous residents had moved out two months ago. Apparently I'm expected to find the previous occupiers and I have to ask them to advise Spark of their past move. I see Spark behaving greedily on this occasion (again).
