First timers to Hilltop and we were not disappointed at all. My husband is gluten free and he enjoyed his fish very much. Beautiful nice sized battered fish. Chips well drained and very little grease. The buffet was scrumptious and there was a variety to choose from. Definitely a place we will continue to return too. Customer service was excellent and wasn't waiting to long for order. Thank you very much

Best customer service, always happy and helpful, very clear on the phone. Chinese best in wanganui and fish n chips made how you want it, drive past many takeaways just to come here.

Unfortunately not great. Everything tasted as if the oil was very old/unchanged. Chips and batter had a yellow colour and slightly soggy texture rather than crispy and golden.
