The owner and Curator of this collection is a fabulous man! I spent about 90 min wondering around in his collection of pottery and was absolutely enthralled. He has such a wide mix of art here. I loved every minute and will definitely go back again.

Cool place. Bigger than expected. I bought one of his teapots, so that means I'm cool.

We spent a very interesting couple of hours visting the museum. A well laid out set of displays. The variety of ceramics was amazing with some incredible individual pieces. Rick Rudd was there and spent time chatting with us. Really appreciated his time and information. Rick Ri

An amazing array of ceramics in a purpose built gallery. Presided over by Rick Rudd, iconic potter and educator. Free admission. Highly recommended if you're a pottery buff

A wonderful collection, simply but well presented with some really beautiful, funny or otherwise evocative pieces. Rick seems like a lovely guy who was happy to answer our questions about both the craft and the history of pottery in NZ. Absolutely recommended to anyone with an interest in pottery, sculpture or hand crafted objects in general.

This place is absolutely wonderful a collection of different ceramic art that is only rivalled by the best museums in Europe. A must visit if you are interested even slightly in beautiful and thought provoking objects.
