Great location on the river, clean, functional and friendly, helpful hosts. We had our 2 small dogs with us and were quite happy with our garden suite. Very handy for walking into town for good choice of restaurants, pubs and shops. Our last night was eventful as a stray goat came to the door and scared our dogs and us!
Beautiful, clean, comfy room. Good size and the atmosphere just makes you feel at home. The huge spa bath is a bonus.
Great price for a huge apartment style motel! Our room could sleep 6 and was fairly clean. Full kitchen and free wifi. Laundry available for 2 to use washer and 2 for dryer. Front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful.
We were fortunate enough to spend a night in the family room with out two little ones and honestly it felt like home. Lounge kitchen hot tub!! and 2 bedrooms with parking right next to the front door. Lorraine was very pleasant to deal with and the property is in an excellent central location. We dined at Maria Lane nearby and the food and ambience were perfect. We will be back for our next Whanaganui Weekender. Cheers
