I have finally bought a house and feel very confident of my purchase thanks to Simon. Each time I contacted the office the quick responses and fitting me in urgently was outstanding. Asset Property Inspections offered us a thorough and timely inspection service for a house we were evaluating for purchase. Simon's patient and sensible explanations of what was good, bad or indifferent about the house's condition, relative to its age, including what needed maintenance attention from a future owner, and what was to be expected in remediation of problems was all very helpful and clear. I would offer an unqualified recommendation for Asset Property Inspection on both price and quality, and I would certainly call on them again.

My wife and I were very impressed with the initial service from Simon and his wife up until there were several issues that Simon had missed during his inspection. We had to engage a qualified builder to resolve the issues which cost us money we never had planned. Simon was very good at explaining the issues outlined in his report, however he was not correct with some items when in his view was not compliant with building code. Council confirmed that he was in correct, again creating time delays for no reason. I would not recommend Simon (assett property inspections )to my friends or family.

As first home buyers we weren't sure what to expect with our inspection. Our inspector; Simon, was awesome! He was thorough, gave good advice on how to fix things and was honest on the condition of the house - Able to do the inspection well within our time frame and had the report to us the following business day. These guys were amazing to deal with! We needed an inspection for a rental property we were purchasing in Whangarei and we live a few hours away so couldn't get there to check anything out. The team had fantastic communication throughout the inspection process and gave helpful tips and advice along the way. They made the process of purchasing our first rental property so much easier for us. Very highly recommended!
