Hopeless. 1000 later and alot of back and forth our pump was not fixed. More issues kept cropping up every time we went to install our pump. We had a gasket missing after they had it 'fixed'. When we first took it in they did not identify that we would also needed a new head as the bolt had worn so badly which would have cost an additional 800. Had we know this we would have just bought a new one instead of try and refurbish an old one. We must have gone back and forth about 4 times. Finally we gave up and sought advice elsewhere which we should have done in the first place.

Hey everyone. I went to make a coffee this morning and when I turned on the tap we had no water at all. I went and checked the pump outside and it was off. Went and checked the switchboard inside and noticed the RCD had popped. I turned it back on and immediately it flipped off again hahaha. I began worrying and rang a local electrician to help and he recommended going back to McQuinn Pumps as they are the service agent for the model of pump. Michael and the wonderful lady helped immediately and gave me a new pump to take away and use whilst we investigated the fault with our pump which was above and beyond the standard of care I expected. Thanks laot McQuinn team you rock and have impeccable customer service skills!!!!!! A very happy customer Des Cawood
