Jess and the team were extremely exceptional!!! From the first phone call to Newberrys to our departure with our loved one the team at Newberrys were amazingly supportive, professional and caring. Our whole family were treated with dignity and respect and anything we requested was catered to. At such a tragic time we are forever grateful for the amazing service.
The last week I have experienced using the services of New Berrys Funeral Home. I thought my loved one was in the utmost care and respectful hands of the funeral director. We had been dealing with Jacob Tobin for most of the duration of our time at the undertakers. I can say we will no longer go back there after what we had experienced seeing our auntie the way she was after being embalmed. I had been told what was happening to my auntie, was something called purging. All I new was stuff coming out of her nose and mouth once we left the undertakers to take auntie home. After a day with auntie at home there was a very disruptive odor coming from her casket. It has unsettled our family throughout the whole tangi. We thought Jacob would've looked after my auntie properly!. We now know as a family we will be selecting another undertakers where auntie will be embalmed properly.

At such a trying time Jacob and the team from Newberrys were absolutely amazing to deal with. Extremely sensitive, patient and designed the funeral the way we wanted it. Highly organised and professional.
After the passing of my father in Whangarei I was referred to Newberrys. The incredible way they handled everything for us from the first phone call to the final goodbye we could not recommend them more highly. Jacob you have been our rock during this hard time we feel you have always gone above and beyond the call of service. Thank you to all the staff at Newberrys.
Using Newberrys for a friends funeral I found them to be the most professional people I have encountered in many years nothing was to much trouble for Kozy and Jacob and I am In Australia and have had funeral cars etc A few phone calls and everything was done perfectly .
