This place is amazing! It is very big and absolutely breathtaking. It is my favourite time of year, when the leave start to turn colour. It's an awesome display. I do feel that 20 is quite steep, although I do understand that maintenance of such beautiful space would cost quite a lot. Unfortunately if you're a small family, then it is very costly. The top garden and wetlands are free to enter. I do wish there were a bit more benches. I absolutely recommend it.

Beautifully kept. Gorgeous views. It has an amazing story . There beautiful naturally growing parts and some very well manicured ones too. It's cost 20 dollars, better if you can take cash. You can take a picnic there are several beautiful spots with lovely views and table and seats where you can have picnics. They dont have a cafe, but there are several choices near by. We went to lovely lime tree which is very close. Visit the website before you go

What an inspiration of what is possible. Went to the plant sale and open day. Great variety to inspire from colourful flower beds, groves of 'specimen' trees, topary, wetlands, open flowing lawn spaces. meadow land to garden art dotted here and there. Generous and kind of them to offer a reduced entry price on this particular day. I imagine in a short time the Autumn colours will be spectacular. Thanks.

Highly recommended. I've seen lots of gardens all over the North Island of NZ and this one is probably the best.

I learned about the private garden Ayrlies in a travel magazine while flying a year ago. The 82-year-old garden owner Mrs Beverly McConnell's descriptions in her book "My Story, My Garden" deeply attracted me. Covering an area of \u200b\u200b14 hectares, the scene in front of us today is hard to imagine that before the 1960, it was just a dairy farm with no trees.
