Perfect location, I loved walking out of our room, across the road and into the sea. Loved lying in bed listening to the waves wash on the beach. Beautiful. Two very special things about this place. We have a child with severe disabilities, and being able to park right outside our room really helped. Caring for them here was so easy. And we forgot a bracelet, which they found, called us about it and then couriered to us, knowing how precious it is. Thanks so much, guys. See you next time!

Location is great, creat service and rooms were clean and nice. However, the internet worked 1 out of 20 times and the toilets/shower rooms were soo tiny you had to reverse in if needed to be seated. But great with access to a bbq and the kitchen-area was really good and clean.
The location was perfect and the facilities were pretty good. The bathrooms are quite small but do the job and the location makes up for it. Unfortunately, there was a bit of miscommunication as the ad said there were 12 beds, we assumed 10 of us would be able to stay. The host became very aggressive, came into our room without even a knock, accusing us of being liars and a lot more. We got it sorted in the end as we had to pay for the extra 2 people but wouldn't be staying there again.
Great apartments. Liked big one for two families. Straight opposite beach does not hurt either!
So wonderful. It's in the perfect location, next to the shore and only a 10 minute walk to the Town centre. When you go to check in you'll likely meet Sue and she's the friendliest glue that's ever kept a place together. There's kitchen utilities (right down to the kettle and toaster) very clean bathrooms and showers, the interoir decorating is fabulous. I really can't recommend this place enough. It's also extremely affordable! Seriously this is a great place to stumble upon.
Spacious 2 bed room with well equip kitchen. Very comfortable queen size beds. The beach is just across the road.
Hostel manager was very friendly and helpful. We felt very at home at the hostel and welcomed from the instant we got there. Facilities were good, good number of people to each kitchen unit. Views across the bay in Whitianga were great from the kitchen. Nice 15 minute walk to the main town with bars and cafes. Lots of activities around and advised on. Great friendly atmosphere. Shame to hear that the hostel will be closing as it was a great place to stay and a highlight of our trip so far.
What a fantastic beach front property. The owners are very nice.
