What a fantastic place. Make sure you have plenty of time to see the local history; from Cook's arrival, local historical personalities and the flora and fauna of the area. Great displays of kauri/gum harvesting and farming displays.
Fantastic experience especially having gone to school there the gaudians have done a great job and very willing too involve in conversation well worth the effort highly recommend!!
Very historical and interactive learnt alittle more about the area and its great to see family history runs strong in that area

It's small but pretty good
Great little museum, displays created with great care, a good mix of topics and plenty for kids. My husband and I spent a happy hour wandering around.
