A must do for tourists and locals alike! Ash and Shona really know how to put on a tour and all the best spots, secret caves and photo opportunities. Ash’s knowledge of the Maori history of the area is exceptional and they really do cater for whoever is on board (I had a 2 year old) to make sure that everyone is comfortable and gets what they’re after! I would highly recommend this experience and will be doing it again next time I’m in the area.

Amazing day exploring this beautiful region! On a zodiac we were able to enter in caves and explore where other boats wouldn’t fit. Don’t think twice. If you are looking for a boat tour “Sea Cave Adventures” should be on top of anyone’s list. Thank you for the great fun!

Ash is the best guide there is. He have a lot of knowledge and goes out of his way to make every tour special. Highly recomended.
We booked a last-minute boat trip with Sea Cave Adventures and really enjoyed the experience. The owner, Les, was full of local information and jokes! The boat was small enough to go into many of the caves and we got to see Cathedral Cove from a unique perspective. Make sure you wear sun cream as you don't realise how hot it is when your speeding along in the boat with the wind in your face!
What a great trip, we took a late morning tour in winter and had a fantastic time. Les is an absolute classic, detailed knowledge presented in a friendly and light hearted manner. The boat is comfortable fast and safe and Les is obviously an experienced skipper. The value for money is really good and the extra time on the water is definitely worthwhile. Lot’s of wow factors.
Wonderful express tour to Cathedral Cove, Ash was an awesome guide with heaps of knowledge of the area geographically and its history old and new. Deffinitely a must do if your in Whitianga!!
A fantastic tour worth every cent. Les is a wonderful host and provides a personal tour of New Zealand's stunning coastline. The boat is smaller which allows you to get up close and personal through many caves. Including fantastic views getting up close and personal of Cathedral Cove without the sand and large crowds. This is an amazing experience, worth every cent and must be done if you're in the area!
