Heather and Don were so welcoming and made us feel at home immediately in their beautiful home. Our room was amazing, bed so comfortable, and then there were the little extras fruit and snacks provided, little jar of sweets in the cupboard but the incredible breakfasts were the ‘icing on the cake’ just exquisite!! We cannot wait to come back!!
Waters Edge was the most amazing B&B that we’ve ever been to. Without exaggeration, Don and Heather are some of the most fantastic people you’ll ever meet...they’re so accommodating, they care for people, and they love their home and what they do. The accommodation is so clean, modern, and beautiful, and you really feel at home while you’re there. The breakfast each morning was so delicious...we’ve been in NZ for almost two weeks and not yet met a breakfast or B&B that is on par. We even mentioned once how we took cream in our coffee, and since they only had milk, they actually went to the store and got us cream because of our mention. They accommodated so much that even in our treks to Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove, they provided us with towels and spades so we could have the best experience. We spent hours just chatting without thought, and learned about the world and their family and their love for both. The home they’ve built is beyond gorgeous, and its so cool to sit in your room or on the terrace and feel a part of something so beautiful. We hope that we see Don and Heather again someday, and would recommend their home to anyone on holiday in Whitianga without a second thought.
Don and Heather made us feel welcome in their new and beautiful designed house. Breakfast on the deck overlay the beach and harbour was splendid. Enjoyed the room and bed. Thanks will be back. Jan

Stunning place and the most hospitable people you'll meet. Came here for the Easter break, which was a perfect getaway. They were lovely hosts and made a beatiful breakfast at any time you requested. They also made you feel at home and couldn't have been more accomodating. 10/10.
