History of Manukau Knitting Mills: Manukau Knitting Mills has been manufacturing knitted fabrics for over fifty years, initially for the garment industry, but diversifying into home textiles and industrial end use fabrics. More recently we have researched and now manufacture technical textiles for specialist end uses. Our Promise We have a dedicated sales and manufacturing team and assure you of competitively priced fabrics of the highest quality delivered on time. Production We produce between 40 and 50 tonnes of assorted fabrics a month and export 40% of our finished product to Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Europe. Technology We have kept abreast of the latest machinery developments, and with a policy of continuing replacement, we now operate the latest in circular knitting and jacquard knitting machines. Our recent acquisition being a weft insertion machine for technical textiles. Yarn Source We source out yarns from Asia, Australia and Europe.
